Visit of Hieromonk Chrysostomos of the Archdiocese of Nigeria and Niger - 02/07/16
St. John's was very pleased to welcome to Sunday liturgy Hieromonk Fr. Chrysostomos of the Greek Orthodox Patriarchate of Alexandria, Archdiocese of Nigeria and Niger. Fr. Chrysostomos preached this day and shared his experiences as a mission priest in charge of five churches, an orphanage and school.
Annual Icon Workshop - 10/06/14
This year's icon workshop saw an increase to ten the number of attending students, including one from Great Britain. The long days however were filled with spiritual peace and joy, and the grace of God was present in many real and tangible ways to the students and teachers.
Russian Tea Room Dinner-Dance - 10/04/14
Our parish's big annual social event was a big hit yet again with a whole new program of Russian music and dance, and a Chinese and Silent Auction that was a huge hit!

Dedication of the Alexandrovich Fellowship Hall - 09/28/14
At the luncheon held in honor of the Building Committee this Sunday, a surprise dedication of the parish hall in memory of Alexander Alexandrovich (+2012) and in honor of his wife, Eugenia Alexandrovich, whose family generosity made the entire construction renovation project possible (including the paying down of the remaining mortgage in the winter of 2006), was unveiled to the delight and joy of the entire parish.

2013 Russian Tea Room Dinner-Dance - 10/05/13
Our second annual Russian Tea Room Dinner-Dance was a huge success, with over 110 people in attendance!
Summer Clean-up/Fix-Up Party - 08/15/09Over 2 dozen parish adults, teens, and kids worked together for the glory of God - and a cleaner church - on Saturday and Sunday after the conclusion of the divine liturgies on those days. Many thanks go out to Angie, Jo Ann, Barbara, Christine, Sylvia, Jerzy G, Jerzy T, Presbytera Irene, Kamelia, Slawomir, Jean, Rob S, Robert T, John, Sal, Elaine, David, Natasha (adults), Steven, Maria (teens), Victoria, Matthew, Alexander, Nicholas, Daniel, Natalia, Michael, Emily, and Gabriella (JOY kids)!
All in all, as you can see, about 18 adults, 2 teens, and 9 JOY kids participated over the course of the weekend; much needed supplies were donated by Mary Ann and Anna - Thank you all so very much!
