On Sunday, March 15, St. John's hosted over 50 guests at our first-ever Eagle Award Court of Honor, held for Eagle Candidate Dean Abaunza, son of Dan and Jennifer Abaunza, as he received Boy Scouting's highest award. On hand were many parishioners, too, and numerous dignitaries from around Brookhaven. Sunday, March 15 was even declared "Eagle Scout Dean Abaunza Day" by the Town of Brookhaven!
